147 vine and wine farms have applied for increasing their competitiveness

147 projects were submitted in SF Agriculture under the measure for Restructuring and Conversion of Vineyards of the National Programme for Support of the Vine and Wine Sector 2014-2018. The financial aid requested for these projects amounts to BGN 60.4 million.

The measure supports only project proposals which will be completed by the end of the financial 2017 and 2018. The indicative budget for 2017 is BGN 16.4 million, and for 2018 – BGN 28.1 million.

Grant contracts will be concluded with the approved candidates after the completion of the mandatory administrative checks. The advance payment is up to 80% of the approved grant and will be paid only on condition that the implementation of the actions has started. We would like to remind that in order to protect the financial interests of the EU, the monitoring of project implementation has been extended from 3 to 5 years.

The measure is very attractive for wine producers because it increases their competitiveness. Owners, tenant farmers or operators of plantations registered as vine-growing farms are supported.
