BGN 30.8 million were paid to the producers of protein crops for the 2021 Campaign
State Fund "Agriculture" - Paying Agency (SFA - PA) paid BGN 30,828,766.76 under the Scheme for joined support for protein crops (SPC) for the 2021 Campaign.
The subsidies were transferred to 16,134 producers who grow beans, lentils, chickpeas, peas, peanuts, soybeans, beans, alfalfa, sainfoin, vetch, clover, cowpea, bitter vetch, lupine, starfish, and mixtures thereof. Entitled for receiving the support are farmers who meet the requirements of Ordinance 3 of 17 February 2015, cultivate at least 0.5 hectares (together or separately) and their areas are eligible for SAPS support.
The rate under the scheme for the 2021 Campaign is BGN 238.35 per hectare. It was determined by Order №РД 09-407 of 06.04.2022 of the Minister of Agriculture.
