From 15 November to 23 November 2010 the buffalo breeders who have not applied for Temporary state aid for support of farmers in the milk sector can submit application for funding, the Managing Board of SF Agriculture decided.
Granted aid will depend on the size of the farm, as follows:
from 5 to 20 animal units: 3 300 BGN
from 21 to 30 animal units: 5 610 BGN
from 31 to 40 animal units: 8 768 BGN
from 41 to 50 animal units: 11 222 BGN
from 51 to 100 animal units: 16 610 BGN
from 101 and more: 22 220 BGN
The deadline for payment of funds is 15 December 2010.
In October the Managing Board decided to grant additional funds amounting to 220 000 BGN for complementary payment to buffalo breeding farms on top of already received amounts under the measure.
In view of unabsorbed funds within the Temporary state aid and lack of support to the buffalo breeding sector, the Managing Board of SF Agriculture decided to grant funding to buffalo breeders, who have missed the first application period.
