    State Fund Agriculture - Paying Agency (SFA - PA) has prepared a new Guide on the Maritime and Fisheries Program (MFP 2014 - 2020). It contains detailed information on the obligations of the beneficiaries in the implementation of their business plans in the mandatory 5-year monitoring period. It outlines the steps needed to ensure effective reporting of the UMIS 2020 indicators.
   We remind that the 5-year monitoring period for the projects under the Maritime and Fisheries Program 2014-2020 begins to run after the final payment of the grant under the concluded administrative contract. In this regard, the beneficiary must ensure that the granted funds are spent in accordance with the national legislation and established EU standards. For this purpose, the State Fund Agriculture, in its capacity as an Intermediate Body of the Managing Authority of the MFP, annually requires from the beneficiaries to submit a "Technical Report" in the UMIS 2020 system.
    The guidelines outlined in the Guide will facilitate the beneficiaries in reporting on the implementation of the production programs and the set indicators of their projects, which are under monitoring. The guide is published on the official website of the State Fund Agriculture. It will be sent through UMIS 2020 to all beneficiaries with signed contracts under MFP 2014-2020, which are under monitoring. The Guide is part of the measures taken to improve the activities of the Fund by increasing publicity and transparency in the work of the Paying Agency.
