    State Fund Agriculture - Paying Agency paid nearly BGN 2.5 million. (BGN 2,463,353) under sub-measure 21.1 “Extraordinary temporary support for farmers - COVID 1” of the Rural Development Program (RDP 2014-2020). 1,008 agricultural producers, performing activities in the Crop and Livestock sectors, received support in accordance with § 5 of the Transitional and Final Provisions of ORDINANCE No. 2 of 5.08.2020 on the implementation of measure 21 "Extraordinary temporary support for farmers and small and medium-sized enterprises, which are particularly affected by the crisis caused by COVID-19" of the RDP 2014-2020.
    The financial aid was transferred to farmers who applied during the second admission under sub-measure COVID 1, which took place from 17 May to 4 June 2021, according to Order No. 03-RD/1407 of 07.05.2021 of the Executive Director of SFA-PA. We would like to remind that beneficiaries eligible for support under sub-measure COVID 1 are the beneficiaries who have applied for support under the direct payment schemes during the 2020 Campaign and meet at least one of the following conditions: have not submitted an application for support during the previous admission under the measure in 2020 or have submitted an application, but have not received support during the previous call under the measure in 2020.
   The financial aid is paid as a lump sum. The ceiling of the support for one farmer under sub-measure COVID 1 is not more than the BGN equivalent of EURO 7000.
